I think I figured out what’s behind your perfectionism 👀

Quick question.

Do you ever spend waaaay too long tweaking something that was already good enough?

- Re-reading the email.

- Re-checking the work.

- Rewriting the caption.

- Changing one tiny thing… then another… then another.

Not because you love polishing…
More because part of you is thinking, “If I get this wrong, I’m going to regret it.”

That’s what my new YouTube video is about, and I’m genuinely proud of it.

Watch it here: https://youtu.be/oiRGg4DpyDU

It’s a unique kind of meditation… and I’m not even sure “meditation” is the perfect label, but it’s the closest thing I’ve got.

It blends all the things I'm passionate about into one... coaching, meditation, spoken word, and music… all in one place.

It's from the heart, it's true to my life, and I edited the music and video myself, so this one feels really personal.

Here’s the simple idea at the heart of it:

Perfectionism often isn’t about high standards.
It’s about trying to avoid a feeling.

- Judgement.
- Embarrassment.
- Criticism.
- That horrible “I knew I shouldn’t have done that” spiral.

So your brain tries to protect you the only way it knows how.
By over-preparing, overthinking, and pushing the finish line further away.

This piece is designed to help that part of you soften.

If you do watch it, please let me know in the comments: Which line hit you the most?

If you love it as much as I do, I’ll make more of these. It was such a good creative outlet.

With love,
